Why I Support The Protesters (And Why You Should Too!)

First, and absolutely foremost, I support the protests and the protesters. Even despite my fears about further spread of the coronavirus.

I recognize that there is essentially a cost-benefit analysis going on here. The cost being the likelihood that this will massively spread the coronavirus. The benefit being that we simply cannot stay quiet. Whether it’s “well-timed” or not, from a public health perspective; NOW is the moment when all these protests, all this resistance, all of this anger and hurt had to come out, had to find expression.
